I very nearly bought this car a few years ago. The original owner who built it was a mechanic from Victoria… Peter something if I remember correctly. Good to see it’s still kicking around with an owner that enjoys driving it.

This car was owned by my mate in Melbourne . He put a RB 25 turbo head on a RB 30 turbo block with genuine GTR
pistons . It has 300 kw at the wheels . Pulled 11.9 sec on the quarter mile at 126 mph 5sp manual street tyers and a standard R200 diff .

25DE head on an RB30E? So an RB30DE? Interesting, like a generational upgrade from the L28, but kept NA in spirit of the original. Unless there's a turbo there but I can't see it. Not a lot of engine bay footage.

Edit. Unless you ment RB20DE this entire time. Which is still cool. But not as cool as a dual-cam swapped RB30E.
