The entire soundtrack had me in complete awe throughout the film, but this one is my favorite. My approach to this was to extend it with minimal alteration, rather simply accenting it with light touches extracted from the song itself.

Original soundtrack by

Benjamin Wallfisch
& Hans Zimmer

I saw the original Blade Runner in theaters. I've listened to the Vangelis soundtrack a thousand times. I pick Blade Runner as my favourite movie of all time, if I could pick only one. I'm so happy that BR 2049 is a worthy sequel. I had such high hopes and anxiety for it to be good, before it was released. It did not disappoint.

It is good that a site exists where I can express my feelings without persecution. I am 61 years old but still am able to look in awe when beauty raises it majesty. In this selection, I can imagine the Trumpets of Gabriel ushering in the new age. The Blade Runner saga deals with the preciousness of life in whatever form. Human compassion is a dying virtue being replaced by cynicism and shallow platitudes without concern for the future. Let the negative comments begin.

As I listen today, I'm deeply saddened by the passing of Rutger Hauer, but thankful he was able to see 2019.

If someone would ask me how falling in love feels like, I would show them this song at 0:45

It saddens me when think of k's story, everything he thought real was all fake. That hollow feeling.. I felt the same way sometime in my life.

Hans is still making magic so far into his career. I only hope he continues. This is magnificent.

Dude. This cut has become the soundtrack to my soul. When I need six minutes and forty-one seconds of chill, this is where I go. Over Christmas, we were visiting family and driving a lot... our 6 month old hated car journeys.... I used to play this in the car to calm him down... worked every time. Your work has literally stopped babies from crying.

This movie is such a classic. Many realize it now, but it'll age like fine wine. I own 700 DVDs/Blu-Rays and this is my 2nd favorite movie of all time.

Feels like an Archangel playing a trumpet over the vastness of space. Wiping out war & poverty & giving us another chance. A chance where we can live in harmony & travel as far as Light will take us.

Nothing can ever be relived. I can never re-live the moment in the film (I saw this the first day it came out first showing in my town) when this glorious piece of music overwhelmed my senses on every level. I don't want to sound TOO dramatic here but I have never been so alive as when this scene occurred. I was shaking and helplessly watching as the aircraft flew through the dystopian landscape with Gosling and his girl. Tears where rolling down my cheeks and I was glad the theater was dark for man was I emotional. It was as if that moment between them would mark their most "perfect" and yet just like the music was not to last and would end sadly. BUT the moment that brief shining moment was glorious to behold!

I never knew about Ana de Armas before this masterpiece. She is just a fabulous beautiful addition to the already beautiful movie.
