I live in Singapore, and after going to the airport a couple of times in Singapore, you’ll get used to it, most Singapore citizens are really friendly too :)

edit: please stop talking / arguing whether singapore’s citizens are nice or not, that’s not my point— I said most and either way in my own experience singapore citizens are rather friendly, sure they/we might do bad things but I’m quite sure that most don’t mean any harm/ are kind.

I'm from Malaysia and went to Singapore before for a vacation trip, I went to this airport before which idk why but I did. It is absolutely beautiful to the point that I still remember it. Most Singapore citizens are really friendly and don't care about your business so its really comforting, You don't even feel judged since they barely even mind you being there or anything. 💜😊

As a Singaporean, I can recommend some hotel places and where to visit if u visit Singapore again. You should stay at MBS(Marina Bay Sands) It's a 3 tower thing btw and u should visit Gardens by the bay at night!
And I also wished I saw u but yeah I didn't😭

so…the same thing happened to me (kinda)
I was flying home (to New York) from Bali, Indonesia on Singapore Airlines with a stop in Singapore

So my last day in Bali was July 14, 2019…also the day of the Ring of Fire Earthquakes of 2019. Two major quakes, and a number of others impacted us. One was off the coast of Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, the other off Perth, Australia, both very close to Bali. Luckily I was in Ubud, a village in the mountains, where there was minimal damage, with fallen trees and few destroyed buildings. Unfortunately the same was not for the airport and beaches as everything was wiped out by tsunamis.

It was chaotic, and we stayed an extra two days in Ubud before things resumed to be somewhat normal. We managed to get a flight through connections to Singapore, mainly just to get out of Bali, which had been wrecked. Still though we had missed our original flight that we were supposed to take home two days prior.

At Singapore’s airport, we kinda just chilled there, hopping between lounges and exploring the beautiful place (including the jewel) also while trynna find a flight home. After over 20 hrs at Changi airport, we got one, a direct flight to nyc that was brutal (19 hrs) but thankful to have gotten out of there.

So in conclusion, my reasoning for missing flights is much more valid than dried beans and water. (This is a joke) but it was a hell of an experience, and something I would never do again, but am rly grateful to have been lucky get out of this situation safely.

Also Bali is still my favorite place in the world, with Singapore at a close second. They are both places I wish to visit again, Ik the earthquakes have nothing to do with the place

As a singaporean jewel’s it’s one of Singapore’s best attractions due to the big waterfall there is a Christmas event at the moment and there are terminals to go u don’t have to just go but can enjoy some view too ❤

I'm a singaporean n I'm happy u visited sg but one thing to clarify is tat jewl is not just a mall is a tourist attraction. Sometimes singaporeans will bring thier kids there to have fun as it is also a place for us to enjoy fun. Jewl is not luxurious it is just some where our government build for not just us but u guys too, to have fun! Jewl is amazing but not more amazing then our government tat build it☺️I'm just glade tp be a singaporean n I'm happy for u to come vist our country. I'm ten this year n I hope tat sg will Improve to be better. I'm on the way back to sg after my trip with my parents to new zealand with thier frendly ppl n thier amazing views n not to mention thier free WiFi on the plane. 😊Anyway just hope u have a fun stay n a great time in my beloved country. ☺️

The singapore airport is the best! Been there a couple of times and stayed overnight for our next flight and honestly was better than a hotel! Amazing food, free ‘movie theatre’, butterfly garden, amazing furniture and I’ll have to check out the mazes next time! Amazing vlog Pierson!
