Lieutenant Dan, a Florida man who went viral for planning on riding out Hurricane Milton inside a sailboat is safe. On Thursday, Oct. 10, the TikTok sensation told CBS, “I’m not scared of anything,” when asked about weathering the storm from inside his boat. Lieutenant Dan, who’s real name is Joseph Malinowski, says he’d do it again. “I’d remain on the boat no matter what.”

People got mad because he had faith and they had none. My family stayed and God got us through. We didn't even lose power. My kids slept through it. We prayed and believed God would keep us and He did. I'm a Floridian, born and raised - 37 years. I went through hurricane Andrew when I was a little girl. I only left Florida for 2 years while I was in the army. But moved back to Florida after I got out. Us Floridians really want to be left alone. Yes we prepare but then we hold on to our faith and let God's will be done.

Shocking ..he was donated 100 thousand dollars and a new boat but it was taken away, because they found out he went to prison for resisting arrest while drunk...no body is perfect.
