Pretty decent explanation but I would add some sort of before n after or benchmark for people some like to see the difference visually on your machine with said changes applied and the before ones also.

I don't recommend turning them all off if you can. Otherwise your game looks like shit.

Here's what I'd go with:
World Tile Buffers: Epic to High
View Distance: Epic to High
Anti aliasing: Medium to Low
Post Processing: Medium to Low
General Shadows: Medium to Low
Terrain Shadows: Low
Textures: Epic to High
Ground clutter destiny and distance: To the lowest option slider all the way to left
Mesh level detail: Lowest option, slider all the way to left.
The only boxes I'd tick are: High Quality Antistrophic Filtering, screen space ambient occlusion, distance field shadowing, sub surface scattering, high quality LOD's, and color grading

pssst. world tile buffers LITERALLY HELPS PERFORMANCE BECAUSE IT BUFFERS LOAD ZONES. just incase you thought he looked it up or something

Bro this guy is a giga chad. I was around 60 fps pretty bad pc and graphics and went to 200 fps with good graphics! If you have time do try this!

Thank you! I was getting sub 30fps using a R7 2700X + 3070TI. Only thing I changed was having Screen Space Ambient Occlusion on, and I'm getting 65-70fps, without lowering the resolution scale.

While this worked, you're essentially running the game on potato mode. I have a 5900x and 3080 Ti. I SHOULDN'T need to drop this game to ultra low just to see 70-90 FPS.

Wildcard is such hot garbage. I really hope this level of optimization isn't needed to run ARK 2. Thanks for the walkthrough.

For everyone that is on steam and still is having issues, delete all ur mods and clean ur files, after that u can re-install them

My friend got me super into this game but i have a cheap pc from amazon, it works super well with most games including payday and modded mc with high end shaders, but it struggled a bit with arc, im hoping this helps and ill bve looking at your pc optimization video! thank you alot!
