In an epic fantasy age of dragons and elves, one heroic leader must wrangle his adventuring party and save the realm. Whether in a real life friend group, a world-saving fellowship, or a DnD campaign, we've all struggled to schedule a good start time. We’ve been a channel for like 7 years and had never made a Lord of the Rings/ House of the Dragon/ Game of Thrones style sketch before this. That’s wild. Tell us what you think!

We're Chris W. Smith and Jack De Sena (aka Chris & Jack). We've been friends for years and love making high-quality, high-concept sketch comedy. Chris was a Blue Man in Blue Man Group. As a voice actor, Jack played Sokka in Avatar the Last Airbender and Callum in the Dragon Prince. In 2016 we united to create this channel, confusingly titled “Chris & Jack”, which has served as a shared platform to write, produce, direct, edit, and star in our own stuff. We're releasing comedic sketches of all shapes and sizes the first and third Friday of every month. Sci-Fi, Heists, animation, movie tropes, absurdist bits, and plenty of fun new experiments. But above all else, friendship.

I LOVE how the elf says "Eggs?" every time they're mentioned, like he's completely blindsided by the very idea of eggs being involved.

I love that the dog just decided to lie down, like this debate was cut down to its more critical points and that it went on for much longer than what we saw.

Agreeing to retain the emotional benefit of “first light” as an idiom but with the mutual understanding that they literally mean half an hour past first light for practicality’s sake is such a brilliant representation of how colloquial language evolves among social groups

My favorite part is how the dog is just there. It wasn't even originally part of the video, according to the post. It just wandered onto the set, and it just chills there. The dog was, in other words, canonized. I love it so much.

I really love the wholesome endings we get. Like yeah minor grievances are really funny. But bringing it back around to friendship is just really satisfying to watch.

I like how the doggo had to lay down and take a breather while the puny mortals had to bicker about their plans for a long walk. Doggo will be rested and ready for a long walk whenever they stop arguing.
