NASA's Parker Solar Probe Ready for Launch Atop Delta IV Heavy

The countdown is underway for the liftoff of NASA's Parker Solar Probe, atop a United Launch Alliance Delta IV Heavy rocket from Space Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The probe will rely on measurements and imaging to revolutionize our understanding of the corona and the Sun-Earth connection. Liftoff is scheduled to lift off at 3:53 a.m. EDT on Aug. 11, 2018.
