The 'Star Wars' universe expands on Disney+ with this new series, which takes place prior to the events of 'Rogue One.' Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor, following his journey as the rebellion against the Empire begins. Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller co-star in 'Andor,' streaming Aug. 31 on Disney+.

Hopefully the storm troopers will be portrayed accurately. They should be hitting their targets and easily killing their enemies, unlike any Disney Star Wars has shown yet. I’m assuming that this is early empire, so most of the troopers should be clones. Bring justice to storm troopers.

One of those clips gave me a great idea: The Empire expands to a newly discovered planet in their equivalent of the medieval age. They are exploited, and eventually join the rebellion. Would be interesting to see them adapt to such a massive jump in technology.

Seeing those MK2 armors at 01:30 makes me think we will probably see some transition from the Clone army to the storm-trooper imperial army. Maybe even some Rex stuff.

Rogue one is my personal favorite star wars movie so I'm excited for this show. Love the tone they're going for, and that they're drifting away from the jedi/ sith thing, and getting into the mechanics of the rebellion.

From what it looks like, the show’s timeline will start maybe months or even weeks after Order 66, and extend maybe into the first 10 years (i’m guessing) into the empire’s reign
