I’m gonna have to check out Quince because I’ve never heard of it. I love classic pieces that can be styled different ways and with trends. I try to be updated but not too, too trendy! 😅 I sometimes feel a little paranoid about wearing things that are only pulled off by the very young! Don’t want to look like I’m trying too hard if you know what I mean! 🤣 This is why I really love your posts because you understand how to be trendy but also classy! When I was in Japan in October, I bought a gorgeous green maxi trench coat at a cute little thrift shop and am in love with it!
I unfortunately lost the belt while traveling home! 😢 But I still wear it without the belt and always get so many compliments.

I've been binging your videos to get inspiration. I'm 43 and my "style" is hoodies, band shirts, converse and whatever jeans dont make me feel fat for the day. I used to have awesome style but life happened and here I am. I have tried shopping for some basic outfits twice now this week and I keep striking out. I feel like I'm an awkward size and my huge chest ruins the fit of most shirts. But, alas, I shall keep trying.

I bought a trench on impulse from j crew factory a few years ago and am pleasantly surprised how often I reach for it! It’s comfy, flattering, and keeps a spring outfit ‘upscale’ in those chilly Chicago spring days!
