Mythic Content Overhaul - 2022 Prestige Special Edition Comparisons

Riot's rework of the Mythic Content is upon us, here is a comparison of the original Prestige skin vs the 2022 Version.
No VFX was updated, its only model and texture tweaks the special edition versions received.
The new special edition prestige versions are on the right which original owners will be able to get where the original prestige skins which are getting "unvaulted" are on the left.

This is so weird, there is so much variance in terms of quality here. Thresh, Lee sin, and Caitlyn all got pretty substantial glow ups, very distinct from the original. But so many of these just look like chromas where barely anything changed. Hell the only change for fizz is a bit more yellow on his face and his crown has a diamond on it now.

The changes are inconsistent. As most noticed, on some skins they are more noticeable while in other skins they are minimum that you can't even notice at most. They should all get the same treatment...

I think the only noticeable changes in game will be the hair color change like Akali and Ahri. The color changes to certain parts of the clothes (especially the front) will be barely noticed. But I guess it's nice that they're giving us exclusive versions to appreciate us earning this (I own all K/DA ones) during the event it came out.

I wish Riot would've had a baseline on what to change, some skins got a lot of changes, while other got basically none

I was so excited bc when they showed Evelyn's, I LOVED the changes with the pink. I was hoping to get more of that with Ahris but it's really only a hair change and felt let down. Then I saw all the rest...

It seems to have differentiated it from the 2018 and 2019 seasons, which were difficult to produce, but it is not understood that the difference between the Fizz and Aatrox reward skins, which could be produced with 100 PP's at the same cost as Evelynn, was not noticeable.

Okay not going to lie I was so sad when I saw how the evelynn one looked a few months back. Evelynn and Caitlyn looked really good!! Now its so funny to see how those are the only skins that look better and the rest are like "oh youre missing a yellow spot here"

Evelynn and Irelia are the only ones that got nice changes.
They could make lux blonde, would be better.

It's so strange how some you can clearly tell are different and others are like _corporate needs you to find the differences between this picture and this picture._ In my opinion, Eve's chroma is probably the best.

For those who ask "where is Lucian prestige?", "why there is no Zyra edition?"... kind of question.

Only Prestige Skins release in 2018 and 2019 get a new seperate, special edition. These new editions do not affect or replace the original ones, and these editions are only for those who own the original skins before the Mythic Content Overhaul, in honor for their investment. The original edition of these skins can still be purchased in the future in the Mythic Shop, but not the above special editions.

Akali was the first champion mastered because her prestigious skin came out and seeing the new design of the skin is spectacular
