Health officials across the state are sounding the alarm about a rise in congenital syphilis cases. Congenital syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection found in pregnant women and officials say women who are unhoused are most at risk.

So they can't explain this cases? Is there really no accountability? Same with monkey pox, it is clear where it is the biggest problem. Being promicuous and irresponsible is not normal behaviour. I only feel sad for the innocent children.

Medicaid pays for care. Homeless people usually qualify for Medicaid. California's County Health Clinics also provide free or low-cost care.
Why?
Addiction and prostitution.
