This rich and delicious five ingredient no bake chocolate ganache tart is incredibly easy to make! With a simple no bake graham cracker crumb crust and a rich fudgy two ingredient ganache, this easy make ahead dessert is so quick and simple to make! Finish it off with dollops of freshly whipped cream for a perfectly balanced easy dessert that is rich and decadent but not overly sweet. NO BAKE CHOCOLATE TART RECIPE
Ingredients:
2 Cups graham crackers (or graham cracker crumbs)
1/2 Cup salted butter (melted and cooled slightly)
4 Tablespoons white granulated sugar
6 OZ high quality semi-sweet chocolate (finely chopped)
1 Cup 33% heavy whipped cream (+additional 1 Cup for topping)
Directions:
Using a food processor, chopper or blender grind graham crackers to a fine crust. Pour into a large bowl. Add sugar and mix until incorporated. Add melted butter and mix until everything is combined and small crumbs form. If the crumbs are too large use a fork to mash your mixture until you have a smaller crumb. Press into the bottom of a 9" tart shell with a removable bottom, or a pie plate or tin. Refrigerate 20 minutes. Chop chocolate into small pieces and place in a measuring cup or bowl. Using a measuring cup makes it very easy to pour the chocolate ganache into the graham crust. Heat 1 cup of the heavy cream in a small pot or sauce pan over medium heat, stirring constantly until it reaches 190F/90C. Pour over the chocolate and let the mixture sit for 2 minutes. Stir with a spatula or spoon until the ganache is smooth and silky. Pour over your prepared crust. Gently shake the panfrom side to side to level the ganache filling. If you prefer a whipped ganache, allow the ganache to come down to room temperature and then using a hand or stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment whip the ganache on medium for 2 minutes until it is nice and thick and airy. Spoon into your prepared crust. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours before serving. This is a great make ahead dessert. When you are ready to serve, whip the remaining heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe dollops of whip cream along the outer edge to finish off your no bake chocolate tart!
