Meaning:

Delorean is a reference to the 'Back To The Future' films, and uses the same themes as the movies to illustrate that even if you were able to go back in time to create a better future for yourself, it’s likely that you’ll only make things worse the second time around, or that certain events are destined to happen, whether good or bad. Most of the time it’s better to just enjoy the ride.

Love the decision to use screamo vocals as backing vocals instead of having them as a prominent standalone feature of the song. Even regardless of that, I’m so glad that at least one of the bands I like remain as good as ever while DGD’s entering an awkward phase for the first time and Hands Like Houses is floundering.
