Returning home, the story of Leila and Engineer Manouchehr

In the movie "Love under the Shadow of Addiction", the romantic and tragic story of Engineer Manouchehr and Leila is narrated. Manouchehr is a young and talented engineer whose life has been ruined due to drug addiction. After a while suffering from the loss of his job and social relations, he decides to look for a new job and get away from this bitter life. But in the meantime, he suddenly disappears and his phone turns off.

Leila, Manouchehr's true love, is worried about him and is looking for a sign from him. She is under a lot of pressure, not only because of Manouchehr's absence, but also because of the behavior of her mother, a mean old woman who hates Leila very much and abuses her. In one of the critical scenes, Manouchehr's mother attacks and beats Leila and asks her to tell where her son is. Layla, who finds herself in emotional and physical distress, is looking for a way to save Manoochehr as well as herself.

The film explores the complex dimensions of love, addiction and family relationships, and shows how addiction can affect people's lives and threaten true love.
