You have to buy Dresdner Christstollen. If you want to sell Stollen under this label, you have to use good ingredients like real butter, a minimal amount of raisins, etc. The taste difference noticeable!

Stollen is popular in many parts of the US. My grandmother bought one every year. Not really strange.

Shop at Aldi stores, they have a lot of those items.

Nice list!
But, Stollen shouldn't be dry - try some upscale version named "Dresdner Christstollen".
And, Lebkuchenherzen isn't the real deal. Real Lebkuchen are round and flat, the "Elisen" version is the best, better still when found in a bakery.

My mom still makes stollen every Christmas. Sliced with butter and a cup of coffee on Christmas morning….

Stollen is not dry, if you buy it in a traditional bakery instead of the grocery store.

Basically, christstollen comes without or with marzipan.
Oh, and persipan(basically the same thing like marzipan just made out of pistaches instead of almonds).
And the thinner you cut it, the better it tastes(really)

Zimtsterne (Star shaped cinnamon cookies) are definitely worth a try. 😊
And there are lots of other Christmas cookies! 🍪

Gerne! 😉

Wait
Marzipan actually exists as a food and it isn’t just a name for a city from a cartoon

Love 💘 them all so much. BUT beware their calories OMG. Remember they were probably originally made in a society that both rarely ate sugar and burned calories like crazy doing farming. So see them as a treat like just for Xmas day and NYE.

Stolen gets better when it has the time to absorb the fruit flavors and a gets moister! Otherwise, I don't like it as it is too dry!

You shouldn't buy such products in the supermarket - try the products from a local bakery! Side effect: less plastic waste.

It's more unfamiliar than weird candy. Why put such a negative twist on it. I've tried a lot if American candy and the chocolate alone tastes really off but I wouldn't look with disdain at it the way you do in the reel. Rather strange.
