Hated fighting this battle. Makes fighting a thunderjaw feel like a watcher.

This battle becomes so much easier with Carja Blazon Master armour reinforced with fireproof and melee resistance weaves; Aloy becomes virtually immune to fire attacks, and as long as you're good at dodging the melee weaves protect you from the claw attacks.

Died 10 times before I gave up, went to YouTube, discovered you can override OR DESTROY the tower…. Let’s go again! (Playing on ultra hard. Wish me luck!)

Wow you killed that thing pretty darn quick. I am impressed! The first time i played this i died about 40 times lol. Second time, i had the Shield weavor armour and killed it in around 10 minutes. But what i didnt know until now, is that you can shoot off the core of the control towers.... I thought that you could only override it... so damn. But thanks for the tip, that is going to make things alot easier from now on :D

Remember guys, you can place 15 Tripcaster wires in the arena, to kill the small machines and buying some time on the Fireclaw, use it.

I dead in this battle for about 6 or 9 times . This fireclaw strong as 5 or 6 thunderjaw in my opinion

did this on level 30 on normal dif without any frost bombs so it should be possible for anyone

Fun fact: there is a machine that’s way bigger than 10-15 Thunder jaws combined but you have to fight it at teh very end, it’s very hard to defeat. Sylens, the guy that talks to Aloy is the guy that’s behind making machines and he makes that thing come to life. (Thing as in the machine way bigger than 10-15 Thunder jaws..)

Got through this on normal. I loved the game and storyline, just hate this tired old boring concept of boss battles, just interested in the story not combat bullshit

This whole site is just filled with movie magic, also the "boss" before. Doesn't slow down when the self righteous brat does... To me the whole boss thing in the DLC is uninspired. I am sorry for buying it and just want to get through it for a clean deinstall wothout longing to have played it through. The kid is a pussy anyways. Health keeps rising and rising, nevertheless she gets three arrows of some bandits and is done. Sure. It is so the people have fun. I know.
