My First Ride on a New Yamaha YFZ450R!

We had another late season ride at Appleton OHV Park! It was a perfect day and it was great to have Matthew and Brayden join us. After chasing each other through the trails Matthew was nice enough to let Chad and I try out his new YFZ450R. It's an awesome machine, the handling was top notch and the machine was very smooth. Big thanks again Matthew!

Quads are so much fun. I owned a 200 blaster, then a 350 banshee and then a 700 raptor. I switched to 2 wheels currently on a 2013 450 yz, it send me to the hospital last year, miss my raptor.

Last month, my brand new '19 450R was stolen from the storage unit i kept it in. I slayed for years to get it. I love that you're open to pretty much any brand. You form your own opinion based on your own experience. A lot of yamaha riders would hate on Honda just because its a Honda....& vise versa. But you dont care what it is..you just wanna see what each machine is like & you respect all the brand's. That's how I am & that's how i think everyone should be.

That place looks like an absolute blast, little.bit of everything for all levels of skill riding and atv type ect! Quads are so fun and being able to ride em all year round is a bonus. Your raptor and that yfz 450 are sweet!

I have had a 2020 yfz450r se for two months now I went fmf 4.1 and vortex tuner worth the money whole computer no piggy back only way to go it never stalls now. Definitely a race quad high maintenance. Happy with it still

When I had a raptor 700 I was his big fan but when yfz450r appeared in my garage I never got on it again. 450r has something that wants to discover it.

Impressive machine for 25-30 hours till the factory recommended top end rebuild. I know people have gone far beyond this, but there are some that have actually blown their engines with less than 100 hours. Just one of my fears since that engine is very high strung. Still a beautiful machine!

450's are pretty rad for everything they are, but they are shorter maintenance intervals and not built to the same durability/longevity of the 686 Raptor. It's gotta be pretty fun to have the perspective of both on the same day, back to back.
I think it'd be really cool if some 450 dirtbike dude would run around with you guys on quads.
