I am not a fan of the Flames, but Mike Smith is my favorite goalie in the league, and this is the reason why: someone was tasked with putting together his highlights for the year and the vast majority of those saves were in the playoffs. Man puts on a show when it comes to playoffs, and I will always respect that.

During the series vs the Avalanche last year, I went and looked up the drug testing policy during the playoffs. Turns out they don't test.

What people don't see is that he was absolutely terrible but had some highlight saves, he was way too inconsistent

Smith is good, don’t get me wrong, but he exaggerates his saves so much

During the regular season, Smith was probably the worst goalie I’ve ever seen play a full season. A few good games in the playoffs doesn’t change that
