Grab / Download Images directly from sites - Scrapebox 2.0

Scrapebox has the ability to download images directly from sites.

Some years ago Scrapebox developed the google images addon, but that requires going thru google to get images, now there is an option to download images directly from a list of urls.

The image grabber has numerous options as well, such as the option to only download specific format images, like
jpg
png
gif
bmp

It also allows you to resize images automatically or only download images above or below certain sizes.

Further you can auto convert images from whatever format they are in to a specified format that you select. You can prefix images with a project name as well and also you can save images in folders based on the domain they came from.

This functionality is built right into the main scrapebox window, just go to grab / check grab images from harvested urls.

Hi Loopline - what's the best method to easily scrape these image URLs to input into Scrapebox? Getting them from Google is a problem, because then you get all sorts of junk images like branded images you don't want, etc. All I want are plain stock images from stock image photo websites based on a keyword. And I also don't wanna spend all day working to click, click, click, right click > copy/paste all the URLs.

This is great but is it possible to just scrape the image urls to CSV rather than download the images? This would be more useful in my situation because I am trying to do a bulk import of CSV data to wordpress and then use a plugin to pull external images locally.

Hi, I just bought scrapebox 2 weeks ago, but I don't see the bulk image option addon, is there a problem with my installation?

I recently used the Scrapebox tool and had some problems looking forward to help. I want to get the image link from the website crawl. I use the "Grab images from harvested URL list" method to get the image and then continue to export that image URL. I find it too time consuming and the data for large number of URLs. Is there any way I can get the image URL from the list URL in one time? Thanks for your interest and look forward to your help.

Does it download the full resolution image or just the thumbnail image that might be shown on the website?

Hello :) any tips on how to grab animated gifs? when i try to grab gif format its grab's a none animated one, it's like it grabs one sequence of the gif.

Hi Loopline, Thanks for this video. I'd like to scrape a number of sites to get the URLs of the image (not the image, but its URL) on the home page. IS this possible or do I need to write a footprint ?

is there a way to grab the images from the specific domain without having to specify every folder in the domain?

It would be good to shuffle the links so that same domain limit doesn't happen.

would love it if it downloaded the image file names as they were... rather than rename them - or at least have the option :)
