Pada Kamis (15/6) siang, Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) menangkap 9 dari 10 tersangka yang terkait dengan kasus korupsi di Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral. Satu tersangka belum ditahan karena sedang dirawat di rumah sakit. Kesepuluh tersangka tersebut adalah pejabat keuangan Direktorat Jenderal Mineral di kementerian yang diduga menahan pembayaran tunjangan kinerja untuk periode 2020 hingga 2022. Tunjangan yang seharusnya dibayarkan, sebesar IDR1,3 miliar, membengkak menjadi IDR29 miliar dan menyebabkan negara kehilangan sekitar IDR27 miliar.

On Thursday (6/15) afternoon, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested 9 out of 10 suspects linked to a corruption case within the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry. One suspect has not been detained as he is currently hospitalized. The ten suspects, who are finance officers of the Directorate General of Minerals in the ministry, allegedly withheld performance-related pay for the 2020 to 2022 period. Allowances that should have been paid, amounting to IDR1.3 billion, swelled to IDR29 billion, and causing the state to lose around IDR27 billion.
