such an awesome song 🎧 now I can see why I could never learn how to play this song properly it changes keys 2 different times. I never understood that when i was younger, can’t believe it’s taking me 20 years to figure out how to play in key and learn my scales, I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks or shred tricks lol 😅 it’s fun to play along with this track now I feel like I’m really surfing with the alien and Joe Satriani

Back when rock radio was a thing, this song was played on the big stations. Quite a feat for an instrumental song. Eric Johnson also did it with Cliffs of Dover and I remember hearing Gary Hoey's instrumental songs on the radio back in the early-mid 90s.
