Local Elections 2022: SNP have won by 'country mile' - Sturgeon

The SNP have won the local elections in Scotland by a "country mile", Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has said.

Speaking to Sky News in Glasgow, Ms Sturgeon added that she was "thrilled" that her party had increased its share of the vote and its councillors.

Across Scotland, the SNP were the biggest party in 21 out of the 32 local authorities, with 453 councillors elected, up 22 on their number in 2017.
The SNP increased its share of first preference votes to 34.1 per cent ahead of Labour on 21.7% of the vote share and the Tories on 19.6%.

Massive win according to the mouth, unfortunately she failed to mention that only 51pc of Scotland voted and snp actually only hold 31pc of seats in local councils so we can all manipulate figures to suit our discussions.
SNP probably had more voters mainly through the fact that they have promised higher pensions, more benefits, better education, better hospitals in fact Eutopia is round the corner.
There policy of giving 16 year olds the vote, refugees and prisoners also should show to any sensible person that she is manipulating the voting system to suit herself.
I am by no means promoting labor or conservative but SNP policy is a dangerous and malignant form of state control.
