AT&T 5Ge speedtest is slower than Verizon & T-Mobile LTE

A speedtest of AT&T 5GE shows that it is slower than the LTE networks from Verizon and T-Mobile. AT&T has simply renamed its LTE Advanced network at 5GE even through the network goes not include any 5G network standards.

I'm getting 120 mbps from at&t 5g e where I live in Connecticut which is 4 times faster than my friend phone he is using Verizon on the same galaxy s9 plus. At&t told me it's not 5g yet but it's a lot faster than LTE

I have gotten speeds of 136 download and 49 upload on 5Ge. Funny how everyone’s freaking out about it not being 5G because AT&T also release their 4G network before they actually had a 4G network and nobody said anything.

I just performed a speed test and got 80 down 21 up. Just like any other speed test. It depends on where and who you are connecting to.

one thing i dont get is why At&t is usually slower? I have verizon one friend has tmobile another At&t the one in At&t had slower speeds on his phone with a 5Ge icon everywhere in california we have gone from San diego to Sacramento, me on verizon and the friend on tmobile always had better data speeds than the one on At&t he always had the slowest speed.. i dont get it why? Arent they supposedly using the same 4X4 mimo carrier aggregation both verizon and tmobile use !? what is it the towers ? are they outdated or what? Or dont they have enough backhaul like the other two? and i mean it what really is it? because everytime we do speed tests the 3 of us, At&t is always the

4g hasn't even been offered at optimized speeds yet 5g is a RIP off in my opinion

I've gotten way faster 5GE speeds where I live.168mbps download and 20.1Mbps upload.
