The backlights on the 991 took some getting used to but now i really love them and think even the 997 II gen ones look outdated.

i would love that the red strip was wide to contain the porsche logo on the back, it would have been a beautiful wink for the old 911

Porsche does not make a lot of mistakes. The 996 was one in my humble opinion (in terms of design, I mean. Those headlights were not to everybody's taste). But the 991 is just great. The tailight strip is beautiful. They've nailed it. Congratulations Porsche!

Well I fly for a living Fed/LE Helo driver. Ive always wanted a Porsche since I was a kid not for status or all that BS. I love 911's for their subtle look I hate nor can I afford those "look at me show off cars" I just a true enthusiast as I said I never use credit so it to me until my late 30's to get my 1st 911 a low mileage 996 from a friend. My wife is an MD, one of my daughters is in residency and they drive Nissan's and Acuras. Unlike TV DR's don't make millions its NOT about status dude.
