Panasonic 16' Industrial Exhaust Fan With Shutter

Here's my new Panasonic exhaust fan, model FV-40AFU. I bought this fan to replace the 97' National. It still does work, but isn't really capable of moving the air around the room. This fan is kinda oversized, but I bought it anyway because it has been in my wishlist since I was 5.

This fan is pretty unbalanced, and is on the noisier side, but it's tolerable for me.

Fun fact, its predecessor, the National FV-40AFU(yes they both share the same model number) has the same issue with the blades being out of balance. I think their manufacturer which is Panasonic Gobel Indonesia use the same cutting machine to make the blades for the National, Panasonic, & KDK(40AAS). That's why the blades on most of these fans are out of balance.

This fan is made by PT. Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia.

One or two of the blades are out of balanced which is why it went backwards when spinning down good fan video super powerful and enjoyed the video

That’s odd that the blades out of balance because it looks like the factory attempted to balance them with metal weights. It sounds really good when it runs!

actually, model bentuk exhaust fan ini sebenarnya sudah ada di jepang sejak 1976 bukan dari akhir 1990an - awal 2000an, jadi nggak herankan kenapa harga baru exhaust fan ini gelap

You better change bearings. Like in washing machines, these big bearings make 'plane turbine' noise over time.
