The hospitality and affection towards Jewish people is an Albanian thing and has absolutely nothing to do with religion. There were plenty of Albanian Christian families that helped also.

I am proud Albanians saved Jews! I am proud that it was not catholics or muslims but it was Albanians that saved Jews! Saying that an Albanian is muslim is like saying a Nigerian is a Chinese. Focus in our traditions that we have and our 8000 year old culture and langue than in religions which are irrelevant to us. I know you want to show the Muslim world out there but we are not Arabs and we most definitely don’t practice their Islam. It was Albanian culture that saved Jews and not religion!!!

I am happy to here this kind of Gesture from my Muslim Brothers. As a Fulani from Northern Nigeria, our historical occupation is cattle herding similar to the occupation of Jews during moses in egypt (in the era of Pharoa).
