INTEL IS ACTUALLY DOING THIS 😳 13th & 14th Gen CPU Issues

Intel's 13th & 14th Gen CPUs have a return rate that 4x times higher than the due to manufacturing issues & they are actually doing this.

-
Intel's Core i9-14900K and i9-13900K CPUs have been experiencing an unusually high failure rate of around 50%, according to findings shared by Unreal Engine developers. These failures appear to be linked to issues with the silicon quality or manufacturing process, which can severely affect the stability and performance of these processors, particularly under demanding tasks like game development or 3D rendering. The situation has sparked concerns among users and industry professionals about the reliability of Intel's latest high-end CPUs, as this level of failure can disrupt workflows and reduce productivity. It's crucial for Intel to address these problems swiftly to maintain user confidence and protect their brand's reputation.

NEVER again after 13/14gen fiasco. If Intlel thinks that it will be sitting quiet and everything just pass, they are SO WRONG!

Chicken nuggets example is incomparable because you purchase chicken nuggets multiple times every month while processor only buy 1 per 2-3 yrs. Salmonella is health risk sometimes fatal.

Comparison could be nearer to like Intel car that breaks in 2-3yrs because the engine breaks because of overheating.

Intel admitted to it thats good but refused to take responsibility will only accept RMA not recall.
To my understanding high end 13th and 14th gen really has problems because of the Intel precision boost 6GHz draws too much power that it creates heat that degrades the CPU faster and the prolong heat also causes oxidation (corrosion).

A good cooling solution could delay this symptoms, my theory is could be they design this cpu to not longer while giving more performance like an 800Mhz overclocked CPU.

The problem is rarer because people also buy a good CPU cooler not using the intel stock GPU. They only use it for casually like gaming and chrome, isnt CPU extensive application only the who use CPU extensive application in work like hours like 100% CPU utilization or mine with it will probably experience the said problem. Most games only use like 20-30% of CPU. Browsing, zoom, Photoshop, video edit only use like less than 10-30%. So average user will most likely not experience the said intel problem.

Only those who work like in AI, animator render machine, cpu cryptomining, science data analysis like DNA or physics simulation, gaming overclockers and financial simulation will likely experience the problem. Specially if theyre using the stock cooler.

I've been running a 13600 in a Blue Iris system that I've had running near 100% for over a year now... no issues.

If you have zero issue for over a year, then there's a good chance that what you got is one of the so-called "golden samples".
Time will tell though...

I am done with Intel processors for an extremely long time, until Intel proves they care about customers who get sold broken products straight out of the box. AMD, Apple and NVIDIA are miles ahead of Intel currently.

intel 13th and 14th gen processors now have a new meme unlocked:
Can it run Path of Titans?

Great video. Problem's @ Intel isn't just the [ Consumer's ] it's even happening to the { Workstation } class of machines. So LARGE companies are having problems with there Server computer's. You could probably take a year's worth of Consumer sales vs maybe half a year of Workstation sales ; the consumer sales probably wouldn't even come close to the Workstation side. If the LARGE ( Business ) sales doesn't light a fire under Intel then what will?

Do these issues also occur in the Mobile CPUs like the i7-13700HX ?

Purchased I Godlike M/B and all the other parts to start my build. But haven't bought the CPU. But now what?

Your motherboard might be able to run the 12th gen it's with a bios update. My evga 690 classified will run 12-13 and 14. I am using a i9 12th gen with 128 gigs of ram for my lightwave and 3d max stuff. Runs great, no voltage issues, just keep then real cool when running. Mine can run for days rendering etc, awesome for games too. Use the 12th gen i9's.

What is Intel's response to this? I rely on single core performance, so Intel is the prefered choice, is it worth waiting/risking for 15th Gen? No guarantee the error is not going to repeat it self. I was going to build a new PC with top specs since my old horse of 12 years has reached its limits.

The second hand market is dead for the 13/14th gen
Only the 12th gen will have resell value.

Nvidia 12VHpwr thing is ongoing and doesn't seem to end lmao, if not happening more. It's a terrible connector design and unnecessary. I can send the same amount of power through my XTX Nitro + on 3x 8 pins, guess what? They'll never fail.
Worst part of the 4090 is the pci-e tabs cracking and bad solder bads.

Something’s not right with my i7-13700k, using an arctic freezer ii 360 and I’m getting 40-50 at idle and under 50% cpu load playing bf5 it hits 100c. Pump is set to max and fans ramp up to 100% at 85c, I did not oc and I did update the bios, it’s been fine for 2 years I’ve had it. I used to get like in the mid 80’s on maxed out bg3.

7:44 bro had to talk from CPUs to chicken nuggets after stating Intel isn't fixing CPU stability
*Proceeds to go into chicken bacteria*

Edit: my honest reaction 8:15

I'm on an i5 13600k with *knock on wood* no issues but I am planning on switching and building my first AMD build next year with the next gen release. Nvidias prices are just stupid because of how big they've gotten especially during the AI boom and Intel is being shady. Also ditching my Asus products.
