I switched from an IPhone 5 to a Sony Xperia Z1 last Monday and the difference is huge! Not only is the camera different, the internet speeds and screen quality are also different, and all falling Sony's way. The battery for the Sony is also massively improved to any other phone I have ever used, as well as the water resistance, which actually works.  I had the choice of an IPhone 5S but there was nothing compared to the Sony! I would personally recommend the Sony, especially if you like to take photos and own a PS3.

i swapped my iphone 5s for an xperia z1 & havent regetted it since! the build quality & the general look of the z1 is amazing. you're getting so much more out of the device. i never thought id like android but once familiar with it, the possibilities of the phone are endless.. where as on an iphone its so limited.

Moved from the Apple ecosystem about 3 weeks ago and am WAY impressed with the Sony.  The camera feature is excellent, screen size is what  I want, decent battery life and the phone is built to withstand my predilection to drop it or get it wet.  Happy with that

Spouse just got a Z1. She absolutely loves it. Excellent camera. Long battery life. External SD Card. Elegant design. No problem adjusting to the android environment.

my upgrade is due next week, ive had Iphones since they came out but im really peeved with the poor battery performance in every iphone ive had, software problems and glitches, time to move on. Im seriously looking at this Sony Z1 as i like taking photos. Thx for your review.

i have both and been loving them ever since. i use 5s more often just because all my messengers and useful apps are there and to lazy to move all the contacts and whatnot. z1's camera is surprisingly amazing, the video quality is absolutely great, when i touched the phone the first time i got this orgasmic feeling hahah the phone feels so good in my hand seriously it's like saying "i belong in your hands" all the time.

I chose the Sony Xperia Z1 over the Apple 5S due to cost and camera function. I gave my Apple 3GS to my husband to use. So far so good, but it has only been a few days.
