Martini Metz – Judderman (2000, UK) [4K 60FPS Upscale]

Here is one of the most famous adverts to ever air in the UK – which apparently scared that many children, it was crowned the scariest advert ever made by viewer polls conducted by Channel 4. I never understood that though: to me, it's never been scary but brilliantly artistic and conceptually stunning. In fact, I don't think I ever remember being scared of this as a child at all - I was just in awe with how awesome the Judderman looked, and 21 years later it still lives up to its delightfully uncanny, folklike reputation. And it's rather ironic that the mascot for Metz was more well-known than the actual drink he was supposed to help sell. 21 years ago though, bloody hell... it never occurred to me how long ago that was until now. I'd say the penny has dropped, but the penny hasn't just dropped - its mass has collapsed in on itself and formed a black hole, sucking me into it as I flail my arms helplessly while the atomic matter of my body is shredded apart.
