This is good.
Based on videos, I have built a "training project" with a step function triggered by the API Gateway. The step function executes for several minutes. I am wondering what is the best way to get a response back in the browser. Should I do some polling or trigger another lambda? I'd like to keep my step function private so maybe I should poll a lambda checking step function status?
What is the best place to ask such a guestion?

My problem is that I don't understand how you create an api gateway without pointing to the root user. Shouldn't we have the key or something unique in order to deploy to the root user where we created AWS account?
