So heartbreaking. He lost so many years of life and didn’t get to have his own family.

Apparently he was denied parole multiple times because he refused to "admit" (or pretend) he was guilty

False accusations destroyed this mans life. The least that women could do is apologize

Heartbreaking and infuriating that an innocent man can be convicted because a woman thought he looked like someone who allegedly did something to her months before and junk science was used to support that.

Sebold's success is premised on the agony and humiliation of an innocent man.

I think that somebody owes an apology to Mr. Broadwater. But some people never learn to admit their mistakes. It is so easy for them to come up with an excuse.

Not that it would in any way make up for what he and his family endured but Sebold should donate at least half her net worth to this man. It wouldn’t be justice but it would be something.

It's a huge shame that the victim is nicest guy in the world. I would've sued her right away after the court.

Alice should’ve turned up to this, and offered him an in person apology. She has profited from his ruin, that is a heavy burden to bear and she should not hide from it.

It’s terrifying how any random black man can just be picked off the street by law enforcement and have their life destroyed just because they were black at the wrong place and wrong time. She stole 40 years of his life and literally made a fortune off it.

All he’s asking is an apology. Sigh. The injustices in our society.

He deserves so much more than an apology. Any money made for "lucky" should be transferred to Broadwater.

While a poor man spent many years in jail, a women became a millionaire by writing a lie story about him.

When he cried, I teared up too. It's a miracle this man suffered so much but still managed to stay a good person, much better than any of his accusers.

This is truly heartbreaking. He is a very considerate person that he does not want to have kids and live with the false accusation. But it’s too late 😣

Will Sebold face charges for wrongly accusing this man and subjecting him to years in prison. I know it’s unlikely and not entirely her fault but still hope she gets the same sentence he had to endure.
