Adobe Premiere Pro Crash / Frozen? HOW TO SAVE YOUR EDIT! WINDOWS!

2024 Update - I've noticed for the last year or so, this trick has not been working immediately on my system. however if I let it sit for a while after going through the kill task process, it will eventually work. sometimes I've had to wait about 10 minutes, you know, stressing out the entire time, but it still works 95% of the time for me. I've just been impatient at times

Sadly, this didn't work for me. My crash was more different than yours, it basically gave my premiere pro a white overlay, and is just frozen

What's the fix if your screen is white, like the entire display is whited-out and it says "not responding" in the top left? I've tried this and it wasn't successful for me. Does anyone have a fix? Definitely helpful regardless!

I have autosave on for 1 minute intervals, even though it might reduce performance. The bad thing is many times it gets stuck while saving, this didn´t happen in previous versions.

So I know that this usually works but for some reason its deciding not to work for me. I followed everything you said. I did "taskkill /PID 21276" and then I went into premiere pro and its still got the opaque white screen and isn't pulling up a save option.
