Almost one year later and still the most unforgettable blind audition I’ve never seen.
His voice is a therapy when changing my mind is required…!

This is insane, this such a hard song to sing in general and he could have at least chosen to start from the first verse to make it easy on himself and chose not to. That's some serious guts because for how the song is structured you know you're either gonna make a great first impression from the beginning and make all four of them turn around istantly or you're gonne have a high hill to climb. He delivered spectacularly from the beginning and that surely gave him the confidence to hit the chorus even better two more times. Awesome.

Judge 1: yes, that’s one way to do it!
Contestant: yes, why not?
Judge 1: *repeats* what’s one way to do it! What’s your name?
Contestant: Hello, my name is Frode
Judge 1: Hey Frode, that was insane! It’s not allowed to say that but it’s allowed when it’s so.. like, what a control! How is it even possible. That high note, you do it so easily! My man, come home
Contestant: *inaudible*
Judge 2: Hey Frode, that was phenomenal. What a presence on stage and you have a range that’s completely bananas (crazy)
Judge 1: BAnanas
Judge 2: you have no transition between chest voice and head voice, you have like the longest voice in the world. Just when you think you hit the top, there’s still more. And one can see you’re enjoying yourself on stage. You are an artist, that’s quite clear.
Judge 3: I just gotta say one thing: you’re gonna end up winning this whole show
Judge 1: oh wow
Judge 3: That voice, and that vocal, with just what you presented here, that’s one of the wildest things I’ve seen. Panic at the disco would’ve been proud had they seen this performance because, I know the boys
Judge 4: you know what, during… However long I’ve been on this show, I can’t remember last time it took 5 seconds for everyone to turn. That was, I was completely stunned. It was so pitch perfect. It was just, you took everyone by storm, it was amazing to witness. I can’t promise that you’re gonna go all the way to the top and win, but I can promise that I will fight for you.
Judge 2: I think everyone can promise you that if you join our respective teams. I doubt that I’m wrong when I say that you can sing a lot of different types of songs as well
Contestant: yes, I’m very fond of doing different things. I grow tired of one thing easily if I’m just gonna do one thing.
Judge 2: Yes so I think you need a mentor that can help you pick the right songs that help you get as far as possible in this competition
Judge 4: *laughs*
Judge 1: Now you’re trying to win him over here (this part was a bit difficult to make out so correct me if I’m wrong)
Judge 2: Yes I’m a desperate man hunting for a contestant
Judge 4: Now I felt like..no now I got desperado myself (he changed what he was saying) what about you bro, what do you say?
Contestant: I mean, it’s not so easy when everyone turns
Judge 1: a luxurious problem to have
Contestant: yes it’s a luxurious problem and I’m a huge fan of all 4 of you
Judge 3: follow your heart
Judge 2: follow your heart towards Northern Norway (where this judge is from)
Judge 1: or towards Sandefjord, that’s the sunny coast of Norway (where she comes from)
Judge 3: and everyone speaks so nicely (referring to their dialect)
Contestant: but I’m here… I applied for the voice because I thought my kids would find it cool. And my eldest son told me: choose Yosef (judge 4) so Yosef it is!
Host: you knew it right!
Judge 4: thanks bro! We’re gonna have a good time
Contestant: yes we will!
Judge 4: tell your son I like him!
Judge 1: you reeled in a huge one there, Yosef!
