The dark grey tone of the paper makes the color pop out to give it that luminosity. But can this be done with white paper?
Your pen technique is phenomenal by the way and so is your pencil blending.
I don't own prisma pencils but I am just going to attempt this with gel markers.

What is hysterical is that I used to use ball point pen for coloring as well! People don't understand how awesome your piece will look! LOL But it's difficult! But once you get the feel for it then it's just like any other medium
