I've read most of GGM's books and have to say Love in the Time of Cholera remains my favorite. A Hundred Years of Solitude is wonderful, but I was so glad when Love was recommended to me. There are so many lines and scenes in that book that ring so true in life for me.

Dear Christy, I have just finished reading the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, it was a beautiful and captivating story and I enjoyed every minute of it. I choose The Goldfinch as my next read. It is my 3rd time reading a book completely in English, but obviously this one is twice the size of other two books. I hope I will complete it within the 10 days.

Kindred absolutely transfixed me when I read it- it was such an eye opener. A brilliant read!!

I read (and loved) The Seven and a Half Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, and goodreads criticized it for "ripping off" The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, but man, they do not sound like they have anything in common other than the number seven and a person named Evelyn.

Christy! I finished ‘The House in the Cerulean Sea’ last night. I cried at the end. I read this book because you recommended it. I loved it so much. It was so funny and heart warming. Thank you for recommending it! It is quite different from the books I am usually drawn to, so I probably wouldn’t have picked it up on my own accord, but I am so glad I did. 🙂💕
