OMG! Thank you! Just bought my 1st ever blower. Looks like the same one. I've been told about these pins so wanted to get spares in case mine break during snow clearing. I bought it from Canadian Tire. They had another Briggs machine which was almost identical to this but $500 more. Reading the specs of each on the CT site one of the only diff I could really spot was that the more expensive one includes the pins. I went to buy pins at CT and was shown some bolts, locked away in a security cabinet. The package said 'replacement sheer pins'. I hadn't put the blower together yet, so decided to buy them after assembly. The package has 4 of these pins you use. I thought those MUST be the pins. What else could they be? A co-worker, long time blower owner, was telling me they're something else. You're vid cleared it up. Appreciated!!!

Thanks, was going to take my blower to the shop before seeing this. Very helpful, going to try this myself. Thanks for posting this.

This video was a lifesaver last week here in MA., when I had to do this on my very first snowblower during the "Blizzard of 2022." Thanks Dan !!
