I will be doing a follow up in 6 months / 1 year on how the totes are holding up since I know a lot of folks wonder if they will give out over time. I’m pretty sure they will be fine … but time will tell 😂🤘

We use white 'Chalky' pens to write on the black bins directly. It stands out like a whiteout pen but can be wiped off with a damp rag if you need to relabel.

great project and awesome to see the T1 Tomahawk in action running with the Apple Vision Pro!

The end-caps look great. This is a project I really need to replicate in my garage.

This reminds me... I need to do organize my place too...

Also, I'm glad to see you have the T1 too. I felt a bit like an outsider when my co-workers saw it, but I use it a LOT.
Thanks for the fun ideas.

I've done this project before and love the final shelf. I ended up making a miniature size version to hold basic laundry baskets to keep in our laundry room. Now everyone in our family has their own basket they can quickly access.

Perfect timing! Want to do the same thing in my garage and this practical video with the 3D prints were great to see, thank you!

finally a woodworking project that shows lumber I can actually get from our junk lumber yards .. man I miss 2x4s that were decent

Oooo, this is a great idea. We have a storage shed in the back yard that this would be perfect in. We do have some plywood as well since I know some bins would have waaaay too much weight to be held by the edges for our needs. Saving this for later

Great project, much more organized for sure.

This is sick! Going to do two sets and add casters to the bottom of the second and connect them with a hinge to stack two together.

Nice, looks like you have a decent amount of space above it as well. A few pieces of loose plywood and you can store things high as well. Maybe loose items or a few short totes like the wrapping paper ones turned sideways.

Very nice, and bonus, you designed it in a way that's friendly to those who don't have the means to haul 10 or 12 ft dimensional lumber.

I also love that you build from the studs outward with cleats. I'm starting to get some ideas brewing in my skull to revamp my bedroom/office, except I would probably find some excuse to use through bolts, glue joints, etc.

Awesome to see someone using the T1 IRL!

Also, this will be the last video I attempt to use these rode wireless mics 🤮👎 decent for phone recording but sounds horrible off my Sony ZV-E1 even after adjusting settings

Did you use PLA since they are only just extra structure, or did you use ASA or something else?

I use these bins to store customer lights for my Christmas Lighting business. For labeling I suggest to switch to white gaffer tape. Sharpie just stands out more on it. Keep at it!

Very nice. Thanks for the step by step video and files 😊

Nice video and project, Uncle Jessy ❤ Hey, it’s a pity you picked black opaque boxes. I would highly recommend transparent boxes - you can actually see what’s inside. It doesn’t look so beautiful, but it is way faster to find things that you forgot where you placed.
