It was a f*cking crime that this soundtrack hasn't been nominated for the recent Oscar.

He loses his daughter, he shatters, he breaks, he makes it the mission of his life, he keeps his daughter alive, he goes through living hell to make her dream come true .. what an intense way of living, such passion, such sacrifice for one single cause and goal .. hats off to Neil .. and the sound track : every time I listen to it I get emotional .

One of the biggest snubs of all time. They nominated Black Panther and not this masterpiece. Luckily, Justin is so young and so talented, he’ll win many awards in the future.

The scene at the crater where he threw his daughter’s bracelet brought tears to my eyes. It was so deep, moving, and compelling. Gosling’s performance was so subtle yet brilliant & powerful. First Man is a very good, immersive, and unique film from directing, writing, acting to music, editing, and cinematography.

Movie was a master piece in my opinion, must see in imax. Same production designer who worked on Interstellar.

this movie deserves so much more love than the hate it's getting. I LOVED IT. Emotional, inspiring and it deserves an ovation!

Just got back from watching this in IMAX. This scene with this score worked much.

I honestly don't understand the flag controversy. It wouldn't make sense to do a triumphant flag plant; the movie told Neil's story, not America's.

From a pure technical standpoint, this track does exactly what it's supposed to: it communicates the scope, importance, and tension of this moment. But, beyond that, it recreates the feeling of the era. One cannot listen to this - even without context - and not know this is the moon landing set to an orchestra, or, more broadly, an ode to the 60's space race. Perhaps it's the choice of instruments, or the overall musical style, but this track evokes the feeling of the late 1960's. Many films try to tie audiences to an era by including popular music from that time, but this film brilliantly does the same thing with its own OST. This is not an easy feat.
