Both versions of the song are pretty good. This song definitely has a lot of meaning to relate in real life. To relate, I feel this here and there when I try to make a friend either a guy or lady. In my past, I thought to myself " what are we doing" and this was like in my middle/high school and somewhat college still if there is no common shared interest in hobbies or careers. And the same if a guy likes me or not even though I've never dated.
