Ξενοδοχείο των 'Βέλγων' - Αλυκός Νάξου | The abandoned hotel in Aliko of Naxos

Στην δημόσια δασική έκταση του Αλυκου στη Ναξο, με το σπάνιο στη Μεσόγειο κεδροδάσος, με τις μοναδικού φυσικού κάλλους αμμοθίνες, κάποιοι Βέλγοι προσπάθησαν να φτιάξουν μια ξενοδοχειακή μονάδα που εν τελει δεν έγινε πότε.

Ετσι η παραλία παραμένει δημόσια και προσβάσιμη για όλους καθώς και τα ερείπια των τεράστιων κτιρίων των «Βέλγων», καταφαγωμένα απ’ την αλμύρα και την πολυκαιρία δίνοντας στον χώρο κάτι παράξενο και απόκοσμο.

In the public forest area of Alykos in Naxos, with the rare cedar forest in the Mediterranean, with the uniquely natural sand dunes, some Belgians tried to build a hotel unit that in the end never happened.

Thus the beach remains public and accessible to all as well as the ruins of the huge buildings of the "Belgians", eaten by the saltiness and the long time giving the place something strange and eerie.
