Living in LA has helped with my Spanish. I used to work at Popeyes and Spanish improved because I learned how to say the food and numbers in Spanish. When I’m traveling I’m always surprised at how much I understand, I can say basic words but not very conversational. Thanks God for Google Translate, def a life saver. You are so blessed to be able to receive this service for free! Keep it up, you got this! Can’t wait to see a video of you speaking in Spanish

Love this!!! I too have lived in a country where I'm a beginner to the language. What you said about not doubting yourself and having confidence is so key!! Me gusta mucho tu video! Estoy emocionado por mas! Gracias!!

Is pregnancy brain a thing? I’m referring to as it relates to the motivation to learn. I didn’t have that excuse but I have definitely felt that mental block in my Spanish learning as well. The good thing is you have access to passive learning as well, just being in the country. Don’t underestimate what you pick up on just from playing a local tv or radio station. I believe that being there something will just click for you at some point.

What is your Spanish study routine? How often you practice with a live tutor, how often do you use other resources, what do you recommend?

Practice - practice - practice...Speaking is super important I just laugh at myself when I mess up lol! Honestly, I studied Spanish in school and only know Hola Como Esta lol. I found it easier to learn French.
