Just knew this series last weekend. Just finished the first season. Wonder why it didn't came up on my Netflix recommendation years before. Really enjoying it so far.

As a straight, monogamistic guy and not "out of the cultural standard" in any way, shape, or form, I kinda find it disturbing the writers thought it was good to depict the polygamous protagonists of the series as alcohol and drug addicts. This being originally aired in 2016 must have been one of the first series on "mainstream" media that depicted this type of "sexual orientation, " for lack of a better word, and make them junkies. In the first 2 seasons, all the life choices they make, apart from the first dates they had with Izzy, were made while stone dead drunk and being out of this solar system amounts of high....

They really messed this up, I feel, and they could have chosen to depict the characters as grownups instead of the drunks that they are...
(Ive literally watched half of the series exactly...)

Anyone who is in the LGBTQ+ (idk what the exact term is now) who wants to coment on this? Thanks

I tried watching this but honestly, it's pure crap. The cringe is real and I really don't like the characters. Couldn't make it past season 2.
