Volvo Group's long term ambition is to offer our customers solutions that are 100% fossil-free. This week we begin serial production of Heavy-Duty electric trucks at our Volvo Tuve plant in Sweden - a vital step in our transition journey.
“We are integrating the assembly of our new electric trucks with our existing assembly lines offering increased flexibility to meet our customers’ demands for fossil-free solutions. With this start of production, we are truly shaping the future of transportation,” says Jens Holtinger, EVP of Volvo Group Trucks Operations.
