Do you think there is anything in the BIOS of the Hades Canyon that would affect power saving for a single hard drive in an externally attached (USB) multi-bay enclosure? I have a 4 bay externally attached enclosure. Two of the bays have WD red label drives, one bay has a brand new WD white label drive. My Hades is always on (HTPC). This morning the new white label drive could not be seen by the computer anymore, but the two red label drives that are in the same enclosure could still be seen. For this reason I am reluctant to think that the fix could be in the BIOS since all three external drives share the same USB connetion and two of them do not have this problem. The enclosure is fairly new so I've taken the white label hard drive (the one that seems to go to sleep) and put it in the empty bay. I also went into Windows 11 device manager and turned off all power saving settings in the USB section. We'll see what things look like tomorrow morning. The current unoccupied empty bay is where the hard drive was when the problem was identified so if the problem goes away I'll be tempted to put one of the drives there to see if maybe that particular bay is the problem.
