This song summarized events that happened to my future wife and I in December 1970! She was about to give up on me, but, by the grace of God, I had the courage to ask her out on a date! We had met together in Lexington, MA after an indoor track meet. By asking her out, we propelled a beautiful love story! We married in May 1976, are now married 48 years and have 4 daughters and 7 grandchildren! Yes, we lost an infant son after only 48 days in 1982, but God has truly blessed us by his Grace! It is not merit, but Grace! Unearned and undeserved!
