Where is “My Five Wives” today? Why was it canceled?

The concept of polygamy creates such an interest in the American audience that the TLC cable network produced the reality-television series called “My Five Wives.” It premiered in 2014, and chronicled the life of a man with five wives and multiple children. The show generated enough viewers for the network to order a second season, however, loyal fans were then surprised that the TV show never made it to a third season. Some believed that the only reason for the cancelation was dismal ratings, but rumors circulated online that it might also have something to do with an allegation of molestation filed by one of the wives.

I watched to the end I think they were more authentic than the Brown Family and it was nice to watch a Man who was equally attentive and attracted to all of his wives, plus he appeared to respect them all. As a Father he paid attention and showed love to all of his children no matter how old they were or who their Mother was. I wish they were still on TLC and I didn't realize that they had a YouTube channel or I would have watched them on there. I hate that TLC has rewarded Cody Browns bad parenting and nasty attitude with his wives, while this Family could have actually shown the world that Poligamy can have balanced relationships within the family structure, can be healthy and have a positive place in modern society.

I binge watched there 2 seasons in a weekend loved this show sad it was taken off. He could have showen Kody Brown how to be a real man husband and father. He knows all his kids birthdays ages which kid was born in order. He actually loves all his wives and yes they have the same issues of jealousy wanting more time with there husband but he makes time for each wife and spends time with his kids… I wish they would bring this show back. This is a big beautiful family that deals with every day life problems we all have. I think Brady runs hisself very thin but it’s what he wanted from the beginning so he works hard at being a good father husband & now grandpa…. ❤

This family shows the positive side of plural marriage. I’m sorry they aren’t sharing their lives with us for another season. But I can understand why. Thank you for giving us a glimpse into your amazing lives!

I watched every episode to the end and loved them! I was very disappointed when their show didn’t continue. I kept looking and watching for the new season which never came. This family is a REAL and AUTHENTIC family and much more valid than the fake Sisterwives. It’s like night and day between Kody and Brady.

TWO washing machines...and ONE dryer...for 5 moms and 25 kids?!? Holy cow...I only have 4 kids and I do at least two loads of laundry every day! That would NEVER work.

People say it was canceled because it was no drama with them. But I think had they had another season or two and got comfortable around the cameras they would've started airing more grievances. It seamed the moment they had a private moment (on camera) to voice their emotions almost all of them had a emotion or issue they felt needed to be voiced and heard. One admitted they wanted a baby, another admitted they felt left out and wanted more time, the other felt not seen from not getting an engagement/anniversary ring like the other wife did. I think they have real life problems like the browns that just didn't unfold on camera. But I will say it was nice to see him trying to Treat all his wives feelings with respect even if he was spread thin between so many people. Not like Kody who just gaslights his wives into looking like they're the crazy selfish ones and never him to blame.

Besides jealousy among the wives there was no drama. Sister Wives on the other hand has Kody the golden curl king of drama..lol

I only saw youtube clips, but loved how he spent equal time, traded days on birthdays, cared for every child equally and equal attention. And i forget the occassion but he got them all the same flowers yet different tailored to each individual wife. And they were real about the jealousy that happens.

I was thinking about the show lately because of the Christine and Kody divorce and wondered where they would have been had the show continued. They weren't without their share of jealousy either. Wife 1 was the prettiest, wife 2 was the one that manipulatively had another baby, wife 3 was the handy one, and wife 4 I think was the quiet one (aka Janelle) wife 5 was the youngest and the one that I think Brady had a soft spot for.

Overall Brady done heavy lifting and tried to remain as fair as possible. I liked the show.

I watched till the end. I like this show SO much more than SW. Brady treats his wives equally and Kody is blatant about who his favorite wife is and treats the others horribly. The premise of both is showing ppl about a polygamy lifestyle, not an out with the old, in with the new mentality like Kody has.

The summary is irresponsible and misleading. It suggests that the allegation is against Brady rather than the wife’s father. This is unacceptable
