MFT are great. Some great landscape photographers use Lumix, and some great wildlife photographers use Olympus

Here’s the plan. Jared will buy DPReview and then hire Kai to do camera reviews and Tony Northrup to run the day to day operations of the business. Jared can then just sit back and collect dollars and we can all finally rest knowing that the holy camera trilogy is in its rightful place.

I've referred to the DPReview site many times for all the gear that I've bought and when I've had a problem I was able to go to the forums which helped me quite a bit with my photography. I think that closing the site down and going out of business is the wrong thing to do. However, I wish everyone at DPReview good luck in their future ventures.

Can't express how disappointed I am with Amazon to do this. There has to be someone willing to acquire the asset and keep the site going. Such an amazing resource both from a historical perspective to today's world.

Hey, MFT isn't dead 😅 I have a R6 II and an OM-1. Love to use the second one for everything outdoor. And I mean real outdoor... - 20/30 degrees, snow and pouring rain. The Canon is my sports and I door camera.

I love the videos that Chris and Jordan do on DPReview

This is one of the saddest news in the photography world for a long time. I wish the DP Review family well, and I still hope that a secret billionaire Santa will save the day!

Let's hope the Wayback Machine has scooped up a lot of DP Review history.

"Reflector" was the original camera transformer. It was 3 robots that combined to make an SLR and actually a SUPER cool Transformer that appeared on a handful of the original G1 episodes. My 8 year old son and I have watched Season 1-3 quite a few times already. Yes, I'm reliving my childhood through him and it's awesome LOL.

I haven't watched in a long time. But please bring back RAW TALK with Stephen and Todd! I loved the video version of your show.

In Calgary I sold a lens to a guy. He actually mentioned DPReview closing in our lens nerd talk. THAT IS HOW BIG THIS IS!!!!

Brings back memories of the Tamron 28-105mm F2.8 I bought way back in the day with the EOS 50e, super soft full open but a great lens I took every where

I just received my Canon Prograf 1000 a week ago. I already own the canon PIXMA pro 100. In one week of offering a bigger selection of prints and types of media to my clients. It has already paid itself off in less than one week. I started using the red River polar gloss metallic paper, the ultra satin 4.0, red linen, the ultra pro gloss, and the ultra pro luster. They just love the quality of paper their prints are printed on. If you’re letting printing companies print your work you are losing out on so much income. Think about all the prints that they have ordered and figure out do you need a super large format printer like the canon Prograf 2000 or 4000. Or will the Prograf 1000 be plenty. Next year I plan on buying the Prograf 4100 to start offering banners and canvases. Printing your own work is 2/3 of the money I bring in. Yeah it takes a little time to print them but the quality is the best I’ve seen. You will make mistakes and have printed the wrong size or something but I have yet to have a clog or printer paper jam since I switched from Epson over to Canon. But all that extra income is nice

Well, better safe than sorry, I have downloaded the entire DPReviewTV youtube channel and their camera database so far..

Mr. Fro, the Ken Rockwell comment landed like a well thrown javelin.

I think the 24-105 2.8 would be great for people like ME! Someone who has to work under irrational conditions and hate switching my 24-70 & 70-200. Actually give my a MASSIVE CHONK in the form of a 15-100 2.8. Those corporate meetings get weird when the food comes out.

I have a canon pro 1000. its been an incredible printer for the first year I've had it and look forward to more. I would recommend it 100%! Best for pros and really really enthusiastic amateurs.

DP Review is the one stop shop for getting specs for all cameras. I love and use their camera feature search feature on the daily

I'll miss DPreview. I teach beginning digital at my local city college and DPreview is my go to for camera info. Most of my students have limited budgets and often have older, hand me down cameras. I use DPreview to make sure their cameras have the needed specs for my classes. Sad day to be sure.
