This is cool! I have the older bartop from gameroomsolutions (thanks for the other video BTW - it really helped during the build). Now I'm noticing the older retro vertical games don't play as well - due to the horizontal screen and 8-way controller Sanwa controller setup. Now, thinking about adding this build too, and flipping the Sanwa controller to be 4-way. Thank you for the inspiration!!

Wow, looks cool. Almost makes me want to buy one.

A couple suggestions for the glare/reflections:
1) Move your computer monitor to the side instead of directly across from the bartop, as that is the biggest cause of the reflections
2) Wear a dark shirt to minimize your own reflection.

Never was a fan of cam locks holding any kinda of furniture together... that thing wont last a 2 years without falling apart or being loose and wobbly. As always keep the videos coming... you are a machine!

On the game Dig Dug use the fire button to inflate the enemies that's another way to kill them. And on 1943 there should be a secondary button for special weapon. You should add 2 more buttons or at least make the player 2 button as a secondary button.

Did the vertical how to video (config, etc...) get put out ... ? I cant find it...
I tried to do pacman, dkong and noticed vertical takes a performance hit... pacman's mouth does not move correctly did you experience any of this in games ?

How do you go with Shutting down and turning on the Pi without SDCard corruption cause I dont see much there like a safe turn/off button
