Little Richard - Slippin' and Slidin' (1964 version)

Recorded in December 1964. Little Richard's voice sounds far more raucous on this than on the original single version. This was released on part 12 of "The Blues Collection" by Orbis publications in 1994 which came as a magazine and CD. As with many of these releases it was probably released previously but I'm unable to find the original source.

This version was used in a great documentary called Black Rodeo w Woody Strobe and Muhammad Ali!
(1972).

This re-recording was done in New York with Jimi Hendrix and Esquerita ! Not bad at all but by all means check out the 1956 and 1964 version which came out on a Modern single, number 1030!
