Ive been looking for this my whole 2 months of using resolve for the first time and now I feel like a pro! U DESERVE SO MUCH LIKES AND VIEWS!

This makes so much sense in how fusion works and how I can use this in other edits outside of motion graphics.
I would love to see a video on how to use an outline from the color page over to fusion or vise versa.
I have used the pen tool to make an outline in the color page and then decided to edit it more in fusion and tried to go back and use the same outline and couldn’t. I have to re-pen everything. There has to be a better way.

Nice one. Please make a video about how to link masks over just one node. When one mask overlaps another, I always have to kinda randomly try different combining methods (maximum, minimum, average, etc) until I get what I want. It would be nice to understand how and why the mask combine or don't.

BTW, it there any way to "duplicate" a copy of "result" and add some effects on it?

Say I have the following graph:

on this RESULT)-->
I want to apply TWO different set of effect (chains) on each instance, and one as the BG, another as the foreground.

I don't think the duplicator doing the right things.

Hey Casey, do you know if you can instance nodes which have keyframes associated with #n attributes then deinstance said attributes to change the timing of the keyframes of the instanced node? From what I can tell in 18.5 it's currently not possible. Deinstancing the attributes makes the parent node keyframing change with it which kinda sucks.

Interestingly, the only thing I couldn’t de-instance on a text node was the color … the only reason I wanted to use instance.
